GAA Brides Set to Take to the Pitch at Croke Park

GAA fans will now be able to marry their love of the game with the love of their life, as Croke Park this week launches their new Weddings @ Croke Park packages.

Croke Park is offering sports mad brides and grooms a unique opportunity to host their special day in the hallowed ground of legends.

There are a number of different wedding packages on offer, ranging from more large traditional receptions, to small intimate celebrations with a pitch side view.  All packages have the option to include guest accommodation in the 4* Croke Park hotel.

Croke Park is also authorised to host Civil Ceremonies, so every element of your special day can take place with this unique backdrop.

“We have had a huge amount of interest in the past from sporting fans, not just GAA fans” said Linda McCoy, Commercial Manager, Croke Park Stadium “We have hosted some iconic rugby and soccer matches here over the last two years, so the stadium holds a special place in a lot of people’s hearts”

“But we also know that couples these days are also looking for a unique setting for their wedding, and one with which that they can be reassured offers unparalleled service and attention on the day”

Croke Park Stadium has unrivalled experience in delivering top class events, both on and off match days. Their highly reputable caterers and managers are industry leaders, which gives couples the total confidence that every detail has been planned to perfection.

Fans will also be impressed that packages include access pitch side for photography, ensuring that extra special wedding day photograph.  All that’s missing is the 80,000+ audience in the stands.

Couples are however becoming more price conscience so even though we are in a growth market we have to look at new ways of selling our product
